A new Group is formed

As from the 1st November 2011 we will no longer be known as Serv Essex. We have decided to break away from the main group and form our own voluntary service which will be known as Essex voluntary Blood Service (Essex Bloodrunners)

STEVE SUTTLING

A copy of the Maldon Standard covering the story of the kind donation from Steve Suttlings parents and how they are going to raise more money for serv-essex in memory of Steve. The total raised so far is £1.381.00 towards a bike in Steve's memory. A big thank you goes out to all that have given us donations and too all the members that attended with me to receive the cheques. A very big thank you goes to Paula and her family for all that they have raised and given us we are so grateful to them all

Attached is a copy of a letter sent to Serv-Essex from Steve's wife Paula thanking everyone for what they did last thursday

Thank you too all the members that turned out today to escort the hearse to the crematorium. Steve's wife Paula has asked me to send you all a big thank you for everything you did today and has said that steve would have been very proud

It is with great sadness that i have to inform you that Steve Suttling  passed away this morning 16.01.2011. He will be sadly missed by all that new him are thoughts go out to his wife Paula and the rest of the family
 
I have just been informed that the funeral will be held at Chelmsford crematorium on the 3rd February @ 10.15
